Map of GeoHipster Sightings

The two maps below represent geocoded photos of people wearing their GeoHipster shirts, as posted on social media (Twitter, Instagram). The maps are being updated continuously, as more such photos come online. (The photos are also featured in the GeoHipster Gallery.)

Both maps represent the same point data — the top is driven by a Google Fusion Table; the bottom uses the Google Maps API Heatmap layer for some client-side heatmapping.
